Installing a Basketball Goal
Naturally the first consideration with this option is whether or not there is a good place to do so. Houses with level driveways and plenty of space above the garage door are ideal for this. However it can cause problems. The ball (and many a player) will be banging into the wall above, around and beneath the goal.
A portable goal addresses many of the problems associated with the previously mentioned options. Many are adjustable in height so growing children are accounted for as well as the occasional adult game. There is no banging against the house with a portable basketball goal. Also it does not have to become a permanent fixture. But it, too, has its drawbacks. The first and most obvious is that it is usually the most expensive option.
