Friday, March 6th, 2009So-called “Casual Games” are the ones to help you survive such moments. A casual game is a computer game targeted at a mass audience of casual gamers. Casual games can have any type of game play, and fit in any genre. They are typically distinguished by their simple rules and lack of commitment required in contrast to more complex hardcore games. These are the games, users don’t need to possess any special computer skills to play them and therefore they are so popular nowadays. The word “casual” indicates that the games are produced for the casual consumer, who comes across the game and can get into game play almost immediately.
Casual games are getting more and more popular, especially the Hidden Object Genre of those, Action & Arcade Games, Time Management games, different simulators (store-, restaurant-, farm-models etc.), logical games and, it’s unbelievable, children games (adults often enjoy playing them).
Things are really easy to understand. Researchers’ resume such a way of human behavior depends on our brain self-protecting instinct, as we are so deeply loaded with our daily routine matters and charged with our job highly, brains, once, get overloaded with information and warm up soon and evidently will cause bad consequences to happen. Science had fixed academicians loosing their sound mind with their brains injured badly… too much information was the right reason of it.
And when the overloaded with information person plays a simple computer game he automatically puts away all of his thoughts and switches over to the game, but his brain relaxes for a while then. That’s why it’s sometimes kind of difficult to get the office manager away from a mini-computer game playing.
